By creating an account or otherwise using Ciste you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
Ciste is an informational spending tracker and educational tool. It is provided “as is” and “as available”. Nothing in the app constitutes regulated financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and Ciste is not authorised as a financial advisor under Irish or EU law. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ciste is not liable for overdraft fees, bank charges, missed payments, late-payment penalties, or budgeting discrepancies that arise from user-entered data, imported CSV files, or calculations shown by the app. Figures presented are estimates based on the inputs you provide.
Ciste is an independent application. It is not directly affiliated with, sponsored by, or backed by Revolut or any traditional banking core system unless a specific co-marketing partnership is announced in writing. Institution logos and names are used descriptively to help you navigate your own finances.
You must be a student aged 18 or over. You’re responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for the activity that happens under your account. Do not paste real account numbers, IBANs, or full card numbers into note or label fields — Ciste automatically masks anything that looks like a full PAN or IBAN before storing it, but the safest practice is not to enter them at all.
You can delete your account any time from Profile → Danger zone. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms; the version and date at the top of this page track that. Material changes will be surfaced in the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
